Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities for IT hardware, software, licenses, and services. The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement, cost efficiency, vendor compliance, and smooth coordination with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure IT hardware, software, licenses, and IT-related services as per company requirements
• Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors and suppliers
• Obtain quotations, perform price comparison, and negotiate best commercial terms
• Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up for timely delivery
• Coordinate with IT, Finance, and Accounts teams for approvals, GRN, and invoice processing
• Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation
• Track inventory levels, renewals, and software license compliance
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and budgets
• Prepare procurement reports and cost analysis for management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, IT, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in an IT company
• Experience in handling IT hardware, software, and vendor negotiations

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of IT products, software licensing, and service contracts
• Hands-on experience with ERP/Procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, etc.)
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication
• Good coordination and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
