We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage local vendor relationships and ensure timely dispatch of material orders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement activities, order processing, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials required for business operations
1. Source and manage local vendors for materials and supplies.
2. Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and terms with vendors.
3. Raise and process purchase orders as per requirement.
4. Coordinate with store/warehouse and ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials.
5. Track order status and follow up with suppliers for timely fulfillment.
6. Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory levels.
7. Ensure materials meet quality standards and specifications.
8. Collaborate with accounts and operations departments for invoice clearance and payment.
1. Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or purchase department, preferably in manufacturing or trading industries.
2. Strong understanding of local vendor networks and market trends.
3. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
4. Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP or inventory software.
5. Strong organisational and time management skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
