Purchase Executive

Role Overview: You will be joining our procurement team as a Purchase Executive where you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices. Your role will involve ensuring quality and timely delivery to support the company's operational goals. Key Responsibilities: - Source and evaluate suppliers to obtain the best quality products at competitive prices. - Prepare and issue purchase requisitions and purchase orders following company policies. - Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery schedules with vendors. - Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships. - Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and timelines. - Track orders to ensure timely receipt of goods and services. - Manage purchase documentation and maintain accurate procurement records. - Assist in resolving any supply chain issues, including delays or discrepancies. - Stay informed about market trends, new products, and supplier capabilities. Qualifications: - Diploma or Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline. - Prior 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement preferred. - Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Proficient in MS Office and familiar with procurement software/tools. - Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions. - Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
