About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and execute large-scale educational kit supply projects across multiple states. The role involves end-to-end planning, coordination with procurement and supply chain teams, managing field operations, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring timely and compliant delivery as per work orders.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Review work orders and contracts to create detailed project execution plans.
• Break down deliverables state-wise/district-wise/school-wise and maintain trackers.
• Ensure all operational activities follow project timelines and contractual terms.

Procurement & Supply Chain Coordination

• Coordinate with procurement for timely purchase of materials based on approved specifications.
• Follow up with vendors and internal teams for PO issuance, inwarding, and dispatch readiness.
• Ensure proper packaging, quality checks, documentation (e-way bills, challans, POD, GRN), and safe transport.

Field Operations & Team Management

• Supervise and track field teams, state coordinators, and executives involved in delivery and installations.
• Monitor daily progress through trackers, calls, and reporting channels.
• Handle on-ground challenges including access, documentation, delays, and school-level coordination.

Issue Resolution & Escalation

• Identify operational bottlenecks such as delays, re-deliveries, damage, or documentation gaps.
• Escalate issues as per defined protocols and take timely corrective action.
• Maintain logs of recurring issues to support continuous improvement.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports covering dispatch status, completion levels, and deviations.
• Create dashboards and presentation-ready reports for government and internal reviews.
• Ensure proper collection and storage of supporting documentation including photos, invoices, and acknowledgments.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with government nodal officers and school authorities for scheduling and issue resolution.
• Represent the organization in review and progress meetings.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as BD, Projects, Finance, and Academics.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Commerce, Logistics, or relevant field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in project management, operations, or supply chain.
• Experience in large-scale distribution projects, preferably in educational kits/books/equipment supply or government/CSR project implementation.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, warehousing, logistics, and field operations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and maintaining MIS trackers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in K-12 education projects involving kit or lab supply.
• Prior experience working with tenders, government departments, and multi-state operations.
• Understanding of transport networks and last-mile delivery execution.
