Job Description

Role Overview: As a Site Supervisor for the Vertiv Switchgear and Busbar business, you will be responsible for providing world-class installation, startup, commissioning, test and inspection services leadership for large, high-profile customers. Your role as the primary Vertiv Services representative for large jobs will involve overseeing projects from factory testing to project completion, while maintaining excellent rapport with customers, co-workers, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Represent Switchgear and Busbar Services at customer and contractor meetings - Utilize standard Project Management tools to effectively conduct projects - Coordinate installation, start-up, commissioning, inspection, and site testing activities - Review scope of work requirements and customer procedures - Define and manage man-power needs - Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders throughout the project - Provide on-the-job training and on-site direction to associates - Conduct field customer training as required - Keep current on equipment issues and safety guidelines - Operate in a safe manner and wear appropriate PPE - Coordinate project completion, customer training, and close-out - Provide accurate and timely reporting - Maintain customer satisfaction rates - Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and decision-making skills - Adhere to company dress code, safety regulations, and escalation procedures - Lead by example and maintain a high degree of professionalism - Communicate effectively with all levels within the organization - Handle stressful situations with diplomacy and provide a calming effect to customers - Be able to summarize and report work-related tasks - Provide technical assistance to customers via telephone - Independently evaluate, recognize, and recommend acceptable customer solutions - Foster a Customer-First Mindset Qualifications: - Graduate of applicable University of Technology with six years minimum experience - Construction management experience and critical infrastructure expertise preferred - Knowledge of construction, electrical and mechanical contracting - Solid foundation of electrical power theory and application - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Valid driver's license - Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints - Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and CAD - Ability to work in physical and environmental demands - Willingness to travel up to 40% in Eastern Europe Region and 30% in the EMEA Region,
