Project Manager - New Store Development

THE ROLE

As Project Manager – New Store Development at Hunger Inc., you’ll lead end-to-end execution of new store fit-outs and refurbishments, with a focus on Bombay Sweet Shop’s rapid expansion. You’ll ensure every outlet reflects the brand’s design language and standards while staying on budget and timeline. This role requires close coordination with internal teams and external partners, translating design into functional, brand-true spaces.

As we scale Bombay Sweet Shop into new markets, the Projects team will drive this growth through design, planning, and on-ground execution.

WHO YOU ARE

• 4–8 years of experience in project management/fit-outs in hospitality, retail, or experiential spaces
  

• Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end: site feasibility, execution, and handover
  

• Skilled in technical drawings, BOQs, MEP & kitchen layouts, compliance, and vendor management
  

• Strong at cross-team alignment and multi-stakeholder coordination
  

• Ability to balance design intent with practical, operational execution
  

• Working knowledge of market rates and fit-out cost benchmarking
  

YOUR TEAM
You’ll work with:

• Founders for brand vision, budgets, and approvals
  

• Design Partners & Consultants: architects, MEP, kitchen, VM specialists
  

• Internal Teams: Ops, Finance, Marketing, HR, Legal, People
  

• Vendors & Contractors: civil, HVAC, kitchen, signage
  

REPORTING TO
Directly to the Co-founder, with mentorship and support to grow in the role.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Driving the lifecycle of new store builds from feasibility to handover
  

• Ensuring design integrity, build quality, and brand standards
  

• Managing budgets, BOQs, and identifying value-engineering opportunities
  

• Coordinating vendors, consultants, and contractors on site
  

• Maintaining the Projects Playbook and vendor database
  

• Conducting post-opening audits and improving future rollouts
  

WHAT YOU BRING

• Minimum 4 years of project management/fit-out experience
  

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel/Sheets, and project tracking tools
  

• Ability to read drawings, coordinate MEP/kitchen layouts, and ensure compliance
  

• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
  

• Experience delivering multiple projects under tight timelines
