About the Organization:

Swaniti Initiative is a fourteen-year-old social enterprise that is working at the intersection of climate, governance and last mile delivery. We believe that while the willingness and resources exist, there are fundamental gaps in the execution within communities that is the biggest crisis in the climate movement. Swaniti works with subnational governments to conduct microplanning exercises in consultation with communities and key stakeholders, provides technical assistance to subnational governments toward implementation and supports in monitoring and delivery of programs. A significant focus of our work within climate and governance is on preparing the private sector and communities for energy transition.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced ProjectManager to lead projects focused on mining and critical minerals. The idealcandidate will manage all phases of the projectfrom research through to finalexecution ensuring project is on schedule and meets all defined objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, andclosure of mining and critical mineral projects.

Develop detailed project plans including scope,resource plans, and risk management strategies.

Coordinate and foster collaboration with internalstakeholders, external partners, and Indigenous communities.

Oversee reporting anddocumentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring transparentcommunication to senior leadership and stakeholders

Implement best practices inproject management, sustainability, and responsible sourcing of criticalminerals.

Requirements
Qualifications Required:

Masters in Engineering, Mining, Geology, or related field

15- 20 years of experience with experience inworking on mining and critical minerals sector (optimally from the privatesector)

Fluent incritical minerals policies and experience of working in critical mineralscompanies as government liaison given preference.

In depth understanding about technical supportincluding facets of processing, mining etc. for critical minerals important forrole.

Has worked with state and national governmentprioritized.

Should be open for travel.

Good presentation skills (verbal, written, PPT,etc.)
