Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver IT projects for clients in India and abroad. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, resource management, cross-functional team coordination, and client engagement. This role requires close interaction with teams across multiple geographies, effective collaboration between technical and business stakeholders, and a strong focus on delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones; monitor and track progress.
Drive execution using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies depending on project needs.
Coordinate and manage cross-functional project teams including engineering, QA, product management, and operations.
Collaborate with international stakeholders and teams across different time zones to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
Facilitate virtual meetings, workshops, and status updates with global teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in India and international stakeholders.
Manage client expectations by providing regular status updates, risk assessments, and issue resolutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and project governance processes.
Manage budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects remain cost-effective.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or other project management certifications preferred.
Experience
6+ years of IT industry experience, with 3+ years in project management roles.
Proven experience managing cross-functional and international project teams.
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience in managing client-facing projects and service delivery.
Skills
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Trello, Asana).
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and virtual collaboration).
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
