About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to manage the India entity’s finance operations, ensure statutory compliance, handle intercompany and JV transactions, support year-end audits, and manage other finance matters as necessary. The role includes full ownership of finance, taxation, BG/PG management, and project-wise financial reporting, minimizing reliance on external consultants. Key Responsibilities Manage statutory filings: TDS, GST, Professional Tax, PF, ESI, Income Tax, etc. Oversee intercompany and JV transactions, including transfer pricing and FEMA/RBI compliance. Handle Bank Guarantees (BG) and Performance Guarantees (PG) as required by customers. Manage payroll, invoicing, purchase orders, and day-to-day finance operations. Prepare and report Project-wise Profit & Loss (P&L) statements. Assist auditors during year-end audits, ensuring timely and accurate documentation. Establish internal controls and ensure cost-effective financial management. Provide timely financial insights to Singapore HQ and India Operations Director. Handle any other finance matters as necessary to support business operations. Qualifications & Skills CA preferred; alternatively CMA/MBA (Finance) with strong hands-on tax and compliance experience. 7+ years of experience in finance/accounting in India. Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliance, and corporate regulations. Experience in intercompany, JV transactions, and transfer pricing. Hands-on with payroll, invoicing, PO management, BG/PG handling, and project accounting. Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/Tally systems, and statutory filing portals. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Detailed Job Description 1. Compliance & Taxation Independently handle all statutory filings including TDS, GST, Professional Tax, PF, ESI, and Income Tax. Ensure timely tax payments, returns filing, and compliance with Indian corporate laws and regulations. Maintain accurate statutory records and prepare for audits. 2. Intercompany & JV Transactions Manage intercompany transactions between India and Singapore HQ, ensuring compliance with FEMA, transfer pricing, and RBI guidelines. Handle Joint Venture (JV) related transactions including funding, loan documentation, and regulatory reporting. Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance with arm’s length principles. 3. Financial Management & Reporting Oversee day-to-day finance operations including vendor payments, receivables, payroll processing, and expense control. Manage invoice processing, purchase orders, project-related financial matters, and Bank Guarantees (BG) / Performance Guarantees (PG) for customer requirements. Prepare and present Project-wise Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and financial analysis to management. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning. 4. Operational & Strategic Support Manage payroll end-to-end, including compliance with employee-related statutory obligations. Establish robust internal controls to strengthen financial discipline and reduce dependency on external parties. Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
