Industry: Industrial Projects (Manufacturing / Warehousing / Infrastructure)
A) Job Summary:
The Project Manager – Civil will be responsible for leading, coordinating, all civil construction activities for projects
from initiation to completion. The role requires strong technical expertise, project planning skills, and the ability to
manage multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery while adhering to quality and safety
standards.
B) Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning Monitoring & Site Management.
Prepare & Monitoring of detailed project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation plans.
Coordinate with stake holders & design reviews, & of drawings.
Monitor daily progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
Lead site supervision teams and ensure proper execution of civil PEB & structural works.
Manage contractors, & vendors; ensure their compliance with quality and safety requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical/site issues promptly.
2. Quality & Safety Control.
Implement and enforce quality control procedures in line with project specifications and industry standards.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and statutory norms at all project sites.
Coordinate third-party inspections and audits.
3. Cost & Contract Management
Prepare and review BOQs, estimates, and budget forecasts.
Checking of contractor bills, variations/claims, and ensure transparency in commercial dealings.
Work with procurement teams for vendor selection based on technical and commercial evaluation.
4. Stakeholder Coordination, Documentation & Reporting.
Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Conduct progress review meetings and prepare periodic MIS reports.
Ensure timely communication and escalation of project-related issues.
Maintain project files, site records, quality documentation, and statutory compliance documents.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports for internal and client review.
C) Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong technical knowledge of civil works in industrial construction PEB integration, heavy foundations,
utilities, roads, stormwater, etc.)
Excellent understanding of project management methodologies (MSP-One PM or equivalent).
Good knowledge of relevant codes/standards (IS codes, NBC, safety regulations).
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Problem-solving ability with a practical, site-oriented approach.
D) Qualifications:
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Additional certifications in Project Management would be an added advantage.
