Position Summary

Program Manager (PM)

agenda.The role is ideal for a generalist with strong analytical and writing skills, comfort with ambiguity, and passion for education reform and system change.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Strategic Program Management

• Lead project planning, execution, and tracking across FLC’s verticals including partnerships, fundraising, and ecosystem engagement.

2. Lead Research & Hypothesis

• Conduct research and landscape studies on education system levers such as

  ed-tech, structured pedagogy, remediation, and implementation

  capacity.
• Develop actionable hypotheses and perspectives to inform FLC’s strategy and policy recommendations.

3. Support Content Creation & Communication

• Draft high-quality pitch decks, policy notes, reports, and external communication assets for diverse audiences including funders (CSR & global philanthropy), government stakeholders, and knowledge partners.
• Contribute to salience-building efforts (op-eds, campaign narratives, event collateral).

4. Support Stakeholder & Partner Engagement

• Support coordination with SSO partners, funders, and government officials to ensure alignment and execution on shared priorities.
• Support preparation and follow-ups for meetings with high-level stakeholders (e.g., Ministry of Education, NITI Aayog, multilateral agencies
• Manage donor engagement materials, reporting, and updates.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier institution; background in public policy, education, economics, or management preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in consulting, policy, development, or strategy roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with structured thinking
• Excellent written and verbal communication; experience preparing reports and decks for CXO-level audiences.
• Comfort with working in fast-paced, unstructured environments and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with India’s education ecosystem and policy landscape is a plus.
