Woofie is one of India’s fastest-growing pet treat manufacturing companies, specializing in Himalayan Yak Chews, Functional Treats & Non-Veg Fusion Flavors. With 37+ SKUs and exports to multiple countries, we are expanding our manufacturing operations and looking for a skilled Production Manager to lead our facility.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager from the pet food / animal nutrition industry who can oversee day-to-day manufacturing, optimize production efficiency, ensure quality compliance, and scale operations for domestic & export markets (USA, EU, Middle East).

Key Responsibilities

Production & Process Management

• Oversee daily production planning & execution for multiple SKUs (Chews, Soft Treats, Functional Treats).
• Implement SOPs, batch sheets, process flows & QC checkpoints.
• Maintain continuous flow of raw materials, manpower & output tracking.
• Coordinate with R&D team for formulations, trials & scale-up.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure HACCP, ISO, FSSAI, FDA, CAPEXIL & Export compliance.
• Maintain documentation for process validation, traceability & audits.
• Conduct in-process and post-production quality checks.
• Maintain hygiene & safety standards as per GMP norms.

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Manage production staff, shift planning & training.
• Work with procurement, packaging & logistics teams.
• Drive process improvements, cost efficiency & wastage reduction.

Preferred Background

Candidates experienced in any of the below industries are preferred:

• Pet Food / Animal Nutrition Manufacturing
• Extruded Treats / Soft Chews / Kibble / Wet Food
• Food Processing / Dairy / Meat Extract / Dehydration
• Nutraceuticals / Functional Foods / Veterinary Products

Required Experience

• 5+ years in pet food or food manufacturing
• Knowledge of machinery – mixers, extruders, dryers, formers, packaging lines
• Experience in SOP documentation & quality compliance
• Must understand batch production & scale-up for exports
