Leading the Production function to achieve the functional KPIs in the following:
- Safety
- Quality

Key Responsibilities:
Safety
- Facilitate Supervisors to prepare JHA (Job Hazard Analysis)
- Plan and allocate employees for safety training
- Ensure training is given to all employees in the Production department
- Encourage/ motivate employees to identify near miss / unsafe behavior / unsafe act and to report
- Prepare an action plan to fix the above-given points along with HSE manager
- Work with HSE manager to prepare an incident report if so, initiate actions to avoid incidents in the future
- Do a periodical audit and report
Quality
- Review ISP yield, total yield and ISP yield gap with supervisors, do gap analysis and ensure to achieve the targets.
- Prepare an action plan and implement the same to the issues raised in the GMP audit
- Plan and allocate employees for GMP/Food safety / Hygiene policy etc., training
- Prepare an action plan and implement the same to address customer complaints to avoid in the future
- Prepare work instructions for all activities and train the workers on the same
Delivery
- Prepare monthly Warehouse & Factory production plan, based on that prepare a shipment plan as per supply chain demand.
- Monitor and achieve 100 % service level
- Review productivity levels with supervisors, do gap analysis and ensure to achieve the targets
- Identify bottleneck process/issues for tonnage increase
- Work with plant manager/maintenance and other team to implement the actions to increase the tonnage
Cost
- Monitor the usage of consumables and maintain control.
- Monitor and control OT and holiday work
Environment
- Ensure compliance to all legal and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure operations of Treatment plants to meet the stipulated norms
Morale
- Identify training needs for supervisors and team leaders.
- Discuss and Finalise with Plant manager
- Assign KPIs to Supervisors
- Monitor and Facilitate them to achieve the KPI's
- Bring ownership and involve them in gap analysis, action plan finalisation and implementation
Follow Up Activities:
- Co-ordinating with the Supply chain department for the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly production plans
- Co-ordinating with stores to maintain the receipts of storage and dispatches
- Working closely with the Warehouse department to ensure timely availability of raw materials and maintain plant inventories at their optimal
- Conducting meetings with subordinates to improve the product quality and achieve maximum productivity
- Maximizing line efficiency and minimizing downtime by putting in place strong systems for preventive maintenance and root cause analysis
- Finalizing the product mix in the case any processing problems
- Co-ordinating with QC/QA to take appropriate corrections, corrective and preventive actions on non-conforming products, manufacturing methods and process.
- Ensuring preventive maintenance as per plan for Pressure equipment
- Monitoring and reducing of wastes in packaging
- Reporting to Factory Manager on Weekly or daily report of scrap, re-work, consumption and action taken report for correction, corrective and preventive action.
- Responsible for handling on daily review meeting with Quality and Maintenance department.
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and hygiene
- Establishing new products production and trails if required.
- Continuously improving efficiency of the production process, improving productivity and minimizing wastages.
- Conduct periodic review appraisal for the production team in fair method.
Profile:
Hard Skills
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline with min 10 years of experience
- Competent in using MS Office applications
Technical Competencies
- Should be familiar with the food manufacturing process, food quality and safety
- Exposure to international certificate requirements
