A leading company from Industrial Automation manufacturing Special Purpose Machines is hiring

ASSOCIATE / DEPUTY MANAGER / MANAGER - QUALITY CONTROL - SPM

JOB LOCATION: Hosur, Tamil Nadu (Bordering Bengaluru Electronic City)

Role & responsibilities

• Meeting the end-to-end QC requirements -

  incoming , in-process inspection and final inspection of the special purpose machine

• Incoming inspection of all manufactured and fabricated items
• In-process inspection of assembly, pallet, fixtures, at various stages of execution.
• Validation of machines for its qualification deliverables (performance, safety, ergonomics and aesthetics)
• Drive meeting the

  customer-specific quality policies/ requirements

• Drive meeting the quality standards as applicable to the industry
• Process compliance to applicable QMS (ISO, EMS, OSHAS etc)
• Leading the supplier assessments and competency enhancement
• Responsible for quality compliance for SPM and Manufactured items.
• Groom and drive the teams in

  meeting the daily deliverables

• Align business metrics with timely decisions with

  functional MIS

• Exposure

  to methods engineers in a related in SPM industry

  would be an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

• BE/B.Tech Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical
• Diploma in Mechatronics can be considered with outstanding expertise in the given segment
• 12+ years of experience in QC/QMS in Automation-SPM

• Sound Manufacturing background

• Basic knowledge Machining, Surface Treatment and Heat Treatment processes

• Basic knowledge in electrical and electronics , Machine programming

• Problem solving tools (7QC, 8D concepts)

• Working Knowledge on RCA, CAPA and Risk management

• Exposure to Global Packing Procedures and Compliance

• Process knowledge complying to QMS
• Knowledge in Six Sigma, lean Mfg Concepts, Statistical analysis, SPCs, FMEA
