Job Title:

Production Intern – Food Bulk Packaging & Dispatch

Department:

Production / Operations / Supply Chain

Reports To:

Production Executive / Production Manager / Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Production Intern – Food Bulk Packaging & Dispatch supports daily packaging and dispatch operations in a bulk food production environment. The role provides hands-on exposure to food packaging processes, dispatch coordination, food safety compliance, and production documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
Packaging Support

  • Assist in bulk food packaging as per production and dispatch plans.
  • Support portioning, labeling, sealing, and packing activities.
  • Ensure correct use of packaging materials and report shortages.

Dispatch Assistance

  • Support dispatch planning and loading of finished goods.
  • Assist in preparing dispatch documents such as delivery notes, batch records, and temperature logs.
  • Coordinate with production and logistics teams for timely dispatch.

Quality, Hygiene & Food Safety

  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP/FSSAI).
  • Assist in temperature monitoring for hot, chilled, and frozen food items.
  • Perform basic visual quality checks before dispatch.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain daily packaging and dispatch records under supervision.
  • Assist in inventory tracking of finished goods and packaging materials.
  • Support audits, stock checks, and compliance documentation.

Learning & Process Improvement

  • Learn SOPs related to food packaging, storage, and dispatch operations.
  • Observe and document process flows for continuous improvement.
  • Report operational issues, delays, or damages to the supervisor.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Basic understanding of food production or operations (preferred).
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and hygiene.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP – an advantage).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Pursuing or completed Diploma / Degree in Food Technology, Hotel Management, Engineering or Operations.
  • Freshers or students seeking industrial exposure are welcome.
  • Internship duration: 3 months.

Working Conditions:

  • Shift-based internship, including early mornings or weekends if required.
  • Factory or central kitchen environment with temperature-controlled areas.
  • Hands-on, operational role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹10,000.00 per month
