Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician – Café Operations is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, safety, and upkeep of café equipment, facilities, and utilities. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, quick breakdown resolution, and ensuring minimal downtime of café operations.

Key Responsibilities:Equipment Maintenance

• Maintain and service café equipment such as coffee machines, grinders, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and POS peripherals.
• Perform preventive maintenance as per schedules to avoid breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical faults.
• Coordinate with external vendors for major repairs and AMC services.

Facility & Utilities

• Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems, lighting, HVAC, water supply, and drainage.
• Carry out minor civil, carpentry, and painting works as required.
• Monitor utility consumption and report abnormalities.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, fire safety norms, and electrical regulations.
• Conduct routine safety checks and report hazards immediately.
• Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and service records.

Operational Support

• Attend emergency breakdown calls to minimize café downtime.
• Support new café openings, equipment installation, and commissioning.
• Assist café teams with basic equipment handling and care guidelines.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and basic plumbing systems.
• Experience with café or kitchen equipment maintenance preferred.
• Problem-solving and quick response ability.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple café locations (if required).

Qualifications & Experience:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in café, restaurant, QSR, or hospitality maintenance.
• Valid driving license (preferred for multi-location support).

Working Conditions:

• Shift-based role, including weekends and holidays.
• On-call availability for emergency repairs.
• Working in café environments with exposure to heat, electricity, and machinery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
