About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be the vital link between our global stakeholders and our talented engineering teams, driving the development of innovative product spanning across diverse set of technologies involving embedded technology, on-premise, web, AI and cloud. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring that our solutions meet customer needs and align with our strategic business objectives. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management skills to navigate diverse perspectives across various geographies and a strong understanding of above mentioned technologies. Key Responsibilities Product Vision & Strategy Collaborate with product management, engineering, sales, marketing, and other international stakeholders to define and champion a clear and compelling product vision and roadmap for our offerings. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and ensure product differentiation. Backlog Management Own, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog in alignment with the overall strategy and business value, considering input from stakeholders across different regions. Clearly articulate backlog items to the development teams, ensuring a shared understanding of requirements and objectives. Lead backlog grooming sessions and sprint planning meetings. Stakeholder Management Across Geographies Act as the primary point of contact and communication conduit between internal and external stakeholders located in various global regions. Proactively engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, manage expectations, and build strong, collaborative relationships. Effectively navigate cultural and time-zone differences to ensure alignment and clear communication across all geographies. Facilitate discussions and negotiate priorities among stakeholders with diverse and sometimes conflicting interests. Agile & Execution Work closely with Scrum Masters and development teams (potentially distributed across different locations) within an Agile framework. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives, providing feedback and driving continuous improvement. Ensure the development team understands the product vision, user needs, and business context related to embedded technologies. Make timely decisions to ensure smooth sprint execution and remove roadblocks. Technology Focus Leverage your understanding of embedded systems (hardware, firmware, software interactions, communication protocols, and development lifecycles), on-premise, web, AI and cloud to guide engineering team wherever needed. Understand the technical constraints and opportunities inherent in embedded product development. Collaborate with engineering teams on technical feasibility and trade-off discussions. Product Launch & Iteration Collaborate with product management, global marketing, sales teams to support product launches. Collaborate with stakeholder (Product management, Sales, marketing) to gather post-launch feedback and iterate on the product to enhance customer satisfaction and value. Define and track key product performance indicators (KPIs). Preferred Skills and Experience B.Tech./B.E/M.Tech in computer science or equivalent stream 10 - 15 years of experience working in an R&D environment Excellent interpersonal, communication skills Demonstrated distributed track of geographically distributed stakeholder management Excellent team players Attitue to learn new skill and work on stretched goals Must Have Skills Exceptional Global Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to effectively communicate, influence, and build consensus with diverse stakeholders across different geographies, cultures, and time zones. Agile Product Ownership: Proficiency in defining product vision, creating and prioritizing product backlogs, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and leading Agile (Scrum/Kanban) ceremonies. Advanced Communication & Articulation: Ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and to translate business needs into technical requirements. Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving: Capability to analyze market needs, define product strategy for embedded systems, and make data-driven decisions to solve complex problems. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skill in working effectively with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams (often globally distributed) to deliver successful products. UX/UI Design Sensibility: A good understanding of user experience principles and the ability to contribute to user-centric design discussions for embedded interfaces Data Analysis & Business Acumen: Skills in analyzing product performance data, market trends, and basic financial modeling to inform product decisions and demonstrate business impact. Exposure to diverse technologies: Good uunderstanding of embedded hardware, interaction between hardware and software, cloud technologies Skills Nice To Have Domain knowledge in image & video processing and screen management solutions is highly desirable Understanding and exposure to the NVIDIA AI ecosystem (e.g., GPUs, CUDA, TAO Toolkit, DeepStream) is a significant plus. Formal Agile/Product Owner Certifications: Such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO), or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM). Specific Industry Domain Experience: Prior experience in relevant embedded sectors (e.g., IoT, automotive, consumer electronics, industrial automation, medical devices). Technical Background in Engineering/Development: Previous hands-on experience in software or hardware engineering, particularly within embedded systems, can provide deeper insights. Experience with Hardware-Software Co-design Challenges: Specific experience in projects where tight integration between hardware and software was critical. Familiarity with Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of relevant industry standards and compliance requirements for embedded products (e.g., safety, security, connectivity standards).
