Product Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant to join our team and support in functional software testing of our proprietary financial systems related to fund accounting, portfolio tracking, and tax computations. This role is ideal for CAs interested in combining finance and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

●   Understand business and compliance logic for:

  - AIF & PMS fund accounting

  - Capital gains & tax computations (CAT III funds, PMS, etc.)

●   Prepare and execute test cases based on accounting/tax scenarios

●   Review system-generated outputs (NAVs, investor reports, tax reports) for accuracy

●   Identify mismatches, bugs, or edge cases in financial and tax calculations

●   Collaborate with product and tech teams to explain issues and verify fixes

●   Help improve internal controls and audit trails in the system

Required Skills:

●   Strong conceptual understanding of:

  - Indian taxation, capital gains, and fund structures (AIF/PMS)

  - Investment accounting principles

●   Hands-on with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, formulas)

●   Good analytical and documentation skills

●   Basic understanding of software/ERP testing is a plus (training can be given)

Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (cleared in last 0–1 year)

Articleship experience in audit/taxation/fund accounting preferred
