Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support our infrastructure and system integration projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in public procurement processes, vendor development, and material planning aligned with government contracts and compliance norms.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Planning & Execution

  • Develop procurement strategies in alignment with project timelines, budgets, and NHAI guidelines.
  • Prepare and float RFQs/RFPs; manage end-to-end bid evaluation—technical and commercial.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials and services required for TMS, ATMS, civil, electrical, and IT systems.

Vendor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and subcontractors for civil, electrical, and system integration works.
  • Maintain vendor databases and conduct performance assessments periodically.

Contracts & Negotiations

  • Negotiate commercial terms and place purchase orders to optimize value without compromising quality.
  • Draft and manage procurement contracts in compliance with legal and project-specific regulations.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to NHAI, CVC, and internal procurement policies.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure transparency in all procurement processes.

Interdepartmental Coordination

  • Work closely with project, engineering, finance, and logistics teams for smooth material flow and service delivery.
  • Track order statuses, coordinate deliveries, and resolve quality or delivery issues proactively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of procurement experience, preferably in system integration or infrastructure projects with public sector clients.
  • Strong understanding of public procurement norms, including NHAI and CVC guidelines.
  • Experience in vendor development and management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP tools.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
