Job Description

Position Summary The Embedded Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of embedded systems, including software development, PCB design, and hardware debugging. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with microcontrollers and a strong foundation in embedded software and hardware integration. Key Responsibilities Embedded Software Development Design, implement, and maintain software for embedded devices and systems. Develop, test, and debug system-level software to ensure functionality and reliability. PCB Design & Production Design multi-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs), including 4-layer boards, using industry-standard design tools. Collaborate with production teams to support PCB fabrication and assembly processes. Microcontroller Programming Program and interface with various microcontrollers such as AVR, STM32, Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, and PIC. Implement and debug communication protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, RS232, RS485, and Modbus. Hardware Testing & Debugging Perform hardware-level testing and debugging to ensure effective interaction between hardware and software. Select appropriate electronic components and prepare detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs). IoT Integration Integrate IoT functionality into embedded systems, including wireless communication and cloud connectivity. Contribute to the design and implementation of IoT-based applications and services. Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems development. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field. Programming Languages: Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded software development. Microcontroller Knowledge: Strong working experience with AVR, STM32, Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, and PIC microcontrollers. Communication Protocols: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, RS232, RS485, Modbus, and socket programming. PCB Design: Experience in designing 4-layer PCBs, including component selection and schematic capture. Testing and Debugging: Proficient in conducting hardware-level testing, troubleshooting, and debugging. IoT Technologies: Basic knowledge of IoT architecture, platforms, and applications.
