This role will be working out of our Indore office 5 days a week.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team at Vena. This role is crucial in coordinating the procure-to-pay process, contract management, and managing negotiations. The ideal candidate will excel in fast and effective communication with both internal stakeholders and international vendors. The individual will work with IT, legal, security and finance professionals to ensure we are onboarding vendors successfully. This person must be a self-starter, be able to manage their time wisely and be driven for success.
- Process Optimization: Assist with streamlining procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Contract Negotiation: Work on agreements with a variety of vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing
- Strategic Sourcing: Identify and source software that aligns with the Vena's strategic objectives
- Vendor Management: Evaluate, onboard, and manage vendors to ensure they meet the company's standards and requirements
- Execute day-to-day procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders (POs), and invoice matching through our Intake to Pay system.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all procurement-related inquiries and take a proactive approach to stakeholder communications
- Updating and maintaining the centralized contract repository

3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, ideally in a startup or fast-growing company.
- Experience with an IT ticketing system
- Strong proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on cost-saving strategies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Knowledge of SaaS subscriptions and their sales cycles
- The ability to create and review internal business cases
- Microsoft Suite proficiency
- Project Management skills
- Interest in AI and willingness to explore AI-driven solutions to enhance performance and drive efficiencies
