Position Overview
The Procurement Personnel will manage the end-to-end sourcing, evaluation, and acquisition of IT
products and services—including hardware, infrastructure, CCTV, IoT, servers, networking, and
firewalls—for projects with government clients. This role requires technical proficiency, compliance
awareness, strategic sourcing ability, and strong communication skills to navigate the demands of
regulated and multi-technology environments.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Evaluation
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for IT hardware, infrastructure, security, and
related services.
Analyze total cost of ownership and conduct supplier due diligence for complex and
mission-critical projects.
Ensure vendor compliance with technical and security requirements.
Risk & Compliance Management
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of public sector procurement frameworks,
tendering processes, and legal compliance for all contracts.
Oversee adherence to data protection and cybersecurity standards, especially in IoT
and surveillance systems.
Contract & Project Management
Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts ensuring service level agreements (SLAs),
support, and compliance specifications are met.
Coordinate procurement activities in line with project timelines, budgets, and
stakeholder expectations.
Supplier & Stakeholder Relations
Build and sustain productive vendor relationships, focusing on accountability and
long-term value.
Liaise with internal technical, legal, and finance teams, along with multiple
government stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
Monitor market trends, updates in procurement technology, and changes in industry
standards.
Prepare, review, and maintain accurate procurement documentation, RFPs/RFQs,
and compliance files.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, firewalls, IoT, CCTV, hardware).
Proficiency with procurement software, ERP, contract management, and analytics tools.
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge
Deep familiarity with public sector/government procurement regulations.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection laws, and ethical sourcing standards.
Analytical & Financial Abilities
Strong skills in cost analysis, budgeting, and supplier performance evaluation.
Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
Project & Contract Management
Experience managing complex procurement projects and contracts, especially within
government frameworks.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
Strong written and verbal communication; capacity for clear documentation.
Confident negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
