Job Description – Procurement Manager Location: Samashti International School, Hyderabad Roles and Responsibilities: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the purchasing and supply chain functions of the school. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services, while maintaining quality and compliance standards. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with the school’s operational goals. Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors and suppliers, building strong, long-term partnerships. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality. Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of materials as per school requirements. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and legal regulations. Collaborate with various departments to plan and forecast procurement needs. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor performance. Coordinate with the finance team for budget management and cost control. Support audit and reporting requirements by maintaining proper documentation. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred). Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in procurement; prior experience in schools or educational institutions will be an added advantage. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Proficiency in procurement software (Tally, ERP, SAP, etc.). Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. High level of integrity and accountability. Note: Transportation facility will not be provided. Candidates are required to arrange their own transport. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Education: Master's (Preferred)
