Job Description – Procurement Manager

Location: Samashti International School, Hyderabad

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the purchasing and supply chain functions of the school. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services, while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with the school’s operational goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors and suppliers, building strong, long-term partnerships.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of materials as per school requirements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
• Collaborate with various departments to plan and forecast procurement needs.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor performance.
• Coordinate with the finance team for budget management and cost control.
• Support audit and reporting requirements by maintaining proper documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in procurement; prior experience in schools or educational institutions will be an added advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software (Tally, ERP, SAP, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• High level of integrity and accountability.

Note:

Transportation facility will not be provided. Candidates are required to arrange their own transport.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
