Procurement Manager - Packaging Material

A leading FMCG brand with a strong market presence is seeking a Procurement Manager – Packaging Material to lead end-to-end sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management for flexible and rigid packaging materials (laminates, rolls, boxes, jars, PET, corrugates, etc.).

This role focuses on driving cost efficiency, supply reliability, quality compliance, and ERP-based procurement governance, while building a robust vendor ecosystem aligned with the company’s growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

·       Develop and manage sourcing strategies for flexible and rigid packaging materials.

·       Build and maintain vendor base, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.

·       Lead rate negotiations, Annual Rate Contracts (ARCs), and drive 5–8% annual cost savings.

·       Manage RFQs and purchase orders via Odoo ERP, ensuring full audit compliance.

·       Conduct vendor performance reviews and strengthen supplier relationships.

·       Collaborate with Production, QC, Finance, and Supply Chain teams for planning and execution.

·       Lead a small procurement team, fostering process discipline and data-driven decision-making.

Candidate Profile

·       Education: Graduate in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred).

·       Experience: 6–10 years total; minimum 3 years in packaging procurement (FMCG/manufacturing).

·       Skills:

-      Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

-      Excellent commercial acumen and contract management.

-      Advanced Excel & ERP (Odoo preferred).

-      Process-driven, detail-oriented, and compliance-focused.

-      Should be ready to relocate or willing to commute to Kandivali West, Mumbai.
