Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the bid management and tendering process for medical equipment, hospital infrastructure, and healthcare services for all third-party OEM products and services including Turnkey.
  • Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents to third party suppliers in alignment with project timelines and technical specifications.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, conduct commercial and technical bid analysis, and support negotiation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Bid Management, Sales, Modality, Customer Service, Project Management and Commercial to finalize procurement decisions.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models and cost benchmarks for key commodities and local bought outs / services. Ensure compliance with healthcare procurement regulations, quality standards, and internal policies, guidelines and directives. Maintain accurate documentation for audits, and reporting.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to inform and adapt procurement strategies accordingly.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives to ensure procurement contribution towards growth.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring long term strategic supplier relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Biomedical, or equivalent).
  • 5–7 years of procurement experience in the healthcare, hospital, or medical equipment industry.
  • Proven experience in bid management, tendering, and pricing analysis.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare procurement.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) , MS OƯice Applications and analysis tools.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and achieving cost savings.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
