Ensure to do an allocation of Manholes on a particular sewer line based on serial numbers in coordination with GIS Team and Asset Manager. Manhole Cover serial numbers will be utilized to record FREQUENCY OF OPERATIONS in a particular SEWER LINE in the ward, which will be a part of Daily Operations Record in Change Management by Zonal Manager. Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: SCADA System Oversight: Maintain SCADA systems for water treatment plants, pumping stations, and distribution networks. Monitor real-time data for flow, pressure, turbidity, chlorine levels, etc., and escalate abnormalities. Ensure proper communication between RTUs, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA servers. Coordinate with IT teams on network health, remote access, data backups, and cybersecurity compliance. Instrumentation: Oversee installation, calibration, and maintenance of all field instruments such as: Electromagnetic and ultrasonic flowmeters, Pressure transmitters, Level sensors, pH, turbidity, and chlorine analysers. Ensure data accuracy and data validation. Commissioning: Assist in design, configuration, and commissioning of SCADA and instrumentation systems during water project execution. Review technical drawings, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs. Support FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test), and field loop checks. Compliance: Implement preventive maintenance schedules for all instrumentation and automation equipment. Maintain detailed records of calibration, service reports, and compliance documents. Role & responsibilities Carry out chemical and bacteriological analysis of raw water, treated water, and distribution samples. Ensure water quality compliance with CPHEEO / BIS / WHO standards. Conduct regular testing for parameters such as pH, turbidity, residual chlorine, hardness, TDS, alkalinity, and microbial counts. Prepare daily / weekly / monthly water quality reports for submission to the management and authorities. Supervise dosing of coagulants, disinfectants, and other treatment chemicals at treatment plants and pumping stations. Monitor and optimize chemical consumption to ensure cost efficiency and effectiveness. Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and calibration records.
