Sr. Hydraulics Engineer/ Manager

• He / She has to support to Hydraulic modelling team working on a variety of water projects to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery according to the contractual requirements, in order to ensure the proper functioning of the system.
• He / She respect engineering planning and deadline.

He / She ensure a proactive and effective intercommunication among the project and proposal team, which implies good understanding of the roles and responsibilities of other team members.

• Working on Water Gems (Bentleys) software for water distribution network.
• Competent to use Pipe characteristics, accessories, reservoirs, pumping stations, flow and pressure measurement, consumption patterns, topographic data etc. from various source to build in hydraulic models.
• Capable of model building, calibration, actualization and hydraulic simulations using WaterGEMS, Source water availability study and Water balance study.
• Competent in the use of GIS software packages, preferably QGIS, Arc Info etc. Updating data from GIS, site info from zonal engineers, trial pits, O & M engineers in Hydraulic model.
• Strong hydraulic skills to verify and evaluate the model results and to define recommendation of New pipelines and other assets for approval.
• Checking the data according to the required parameters on WaterGEMS. Have excellent data conversion abilities (MSExcel database type packages)
• Conducting Transient/Surge Analysis for Pressure Pipes using HAMMER or relevant softwares.
• Asst in Water Audit, to find out water losses (UFW/NRW)
• Water Quality modeling, to find out injection points of chlorine using water & pipe characteristics.
• The documentation management related to hydraulics(Control and file).
• Preparation of the Hydraulic reports and finalizing of same with clients.
• Providing required data to GIS for preparation of Maps.
• Knowledge on Sewer Gems (Bentleys) software for wastewater collection and StormCAD/Civil Storm (Bentley’s) software for stormwater drainage collection.
• Knowledge on Water Treatment Technologies (WTP/STP/WWTP/ETP)
• Providing technical support to the project team i.e. (client comment resolution, Site support, etc)
• Assist HoD on Business Development, SPOT, Innovations and R&D activities.
• Travel to Project Sites for client interactions, resolve site problems and oversee Day to Day HNM activities of projects.
• Competent level of baseline skills, i.e.: professional and confident with the essential, basic business and communication skills.
