Procurement Buyer

As part of Giant Eagle in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in the procurement process. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the entire procurement process from initial requisition to final delivery, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. - Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, building relationships, and managing the existing supplier base. - Negotiating favorable terms with suppliers, onboarding vendors, and managing purchase orders while ensuring adherence to contractual obligations. - Collaborating with the Legal team and vendors to review, negotiate, and execute contracts. - Working with both India and US teams to achieve procurement goals. - Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders such as IT, Finance, and HR on procurement needs for the Giant Eagle India office to ensure smooth procurement operations. - Performing ongoing assessments of procurement initiatives, including measuring service levels of the vendor. - Contract and renewal management. For this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement. - A Bachelor's Degree is desired. - Experience in supporting cross-functional teams. - Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - Ability to navigate and manage cross-functional relationships.,
