Procurement Assistant - Tasks and accountabilities


  • Act as the first point of review for incoming procurement requests submitted via Jira, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate and track order confirmations, ensuring timely communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and summaries related to procurement discussions and vendor meetings.
  • Support the maintenance of procurement documentation, including contracts, approvals, and purchase records.
  • Assist in vendor onboarding and data entry processes, ensuring alignment with compliance and legal standards.
  • Monitor procurement metrics and assist in generating basic reports on spend, savings, and performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and IT teams to support day-to-day procurement activities.
