Job Summary
The
Principal Oracle EBS HRMS Techno-Functional Consultant
is a senior advisory and delivery role responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS solutions. This role combines deep functional expertise in HR and Payroll with hands-on technical capabilities, guiding customers through complex transformations, including hybrid and cloud (Fusion HCM) integrations. The consultant serves as a trusted advisor, solution authority, and delivery leader, ensuring robust, scalable, and sustainable HRMS solutions aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze customer HR, Payroll, and Talent business requirements, translating them into effective Oracle EBS HRMS solutions.
- Lead end-to-end Oracle EBS HRMS implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and patching initiatives.
- Provide hands-on functional and technical expertise across HR, Payroll, OTL, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Learning, and ORC.
- Design, develop, and support customizations, integrations, and extensions using Oracle-recommended tools and best practices.
- Guide customers on HRMS optimization strategies and their cloud journey, including integration with Oracle Fusion HCM where applicable.
- Act as the Solution Delivery authority, advising on scope, quality, cost-effectiveness, risk mitigation, and solution reusability.
- Ensure smooth transition from implementation to operations, maintaining long-term application stability and alignment with business needs.
- Support presales activities by providing solution expertise, technical guidance, and value-driven recommendations.
Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory (Must-Have)
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in Oracle HRMS solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS HRMS Functional Consultant.
- Minimum 3 full-cycle Oracle EBS HRMS implementations.
- Proven functional expertise in:
- Core HR, Payroll
- OTL and Absence Management
- Benefits and Compensation
- Talent Management, Learning, ORC
- Strong experience with data migration and interfaces using APIs, Payroll Batch Loader, HR Data Loader, and custom interfaces.
- Solid understanding of EBS HRMS security, including roles and responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience with:
- SQL and PL/SQL
- Fast Formulas
- Oracle Workflow, AME, Alert Manager
- Forms Personalization and APIs
- Experience developing and supporting OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, dashboards, and extracts.
- Knowledge of EBS HRMS patching, upgrades, testing strategies, and change management best practices.
Good-to-Have (Preferred)
- Experience integrating Oracle EBS HRMS with Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Exposure to SOAP services, BPM, Page Composer, Sandboxes, and personalization frameworks.
- Presales or customer-facing consulting experience within enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting HRMS solutions across on-prem, cloud, or hybrid architectures.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Am I comfortable acting as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding solution decisions and supporting long-term HRMS optimization and cloud transitions?
