Principal Officer

As our Principal Officer, you won't just be managing a department; you will be a core member of our leadership team and the architect of the most respected compliance framework in the Indian Web3 ecosystem.

What You'll Do (Your Responsibilities):

• Own the Regulatory Relationship:

  Act as the primary liaison with FIU-India and other regulatory bodies, ensuring a relationship built on transparency and trust.

• Architect the Framework:

  Design, implement, and continuously enhance our end-to-end AML, CFT, and KYC policies and procedures across all our platforms (Spot, Futures, and our B2B on-ramp, Payonramp).

• Lead Critical Reporting:

  Serve as the final authority on the investigation and filing of all Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and other regulatory filings.

• Drive a Culture of Compliance:

  Develop and conduct ongoing compliance training for the entire company, from the support desk to the founding team.

• Strategic Risk Assessment:

  Oversee the due diligence process for high-risk clients, new products (like our "Cryptoforce Launchpad"), and B2B partners.

• Embed Compliance into Product:

  Work directly with our Product and Tech teams to ensure that compliance and user safety are built into the DNA of every feature we ship.

• Board-Level Reporting:

  Prepare and present clear, data-driven compliance reports to the board and founders, providing insights into our risk landscape.

Who You Are (Our Ideal Candidate):

• PMLA Expert (Non-Negotiable):

  You have a minimum of

  3+ years of deep, hands-on experience

  with the Indian Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and its associated rules.

• Seasoned Compliance Professional:

  You have a proven track record in a senior compliance role within a bank, a regulated fintech company, or another Virtual Digital Asset (VDA) service provider in India.

• Regulatory Navigator:

  You have direct experience liaising with regulatory bodies, particularly FIU-IND.

• Analytical & Decisive:

  You are comfortable using data and compliance tools to make critical, risk-based decisions.

• A Builder at Heart:

  You are excited by the prospect of building a world-class compliance function from the ground up.

  You hold relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS), have experience with crypto-native compliance tools (like Scorechain, Chainalysis), and have a genuine passion for the future of digital assets.
