Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant- QA Automation Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright (Python/Java/C#) to lead automation initiatives in the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will architect scalable frameworks, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and mentor teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-quality patient-facing applications.

Responsibilities
    Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade automation frameworks using Playwright with Python, Java, or C#.
    Define automation standards, best practices, and reusable components across QA teams.
    Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing at scale.
    Architect and execute automated test suites for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
    Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve defects and improve application quality.
    Lead performance, scalability, and reliability testing for healthcare applications.
    Identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance in collaboration with engineering teams.
    Establish benchmarks and SLAs to ensure healthcare systems remain resilient under peak loads.
    Ensure automation processes align with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, HITECH).
    Validate security and privacy requirements through automated test cases.
    Maintain audit-ready documentation of test results and defect resolution.
    Provide technical leadership to QA automation teams, mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.
    Conduct code reviews, framework evaluations, and guide teams on Playwright best practices.
    Act as a subject matter expert for automation strategy in healthcare QA.
    Champion Agile/Scrum practices, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
    Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
    Drive innovation in automation by adopting emerging tools and practices.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
    Experience in QA automation engineering.
    Strong expertise in Playwright with Python, Java, or C#.
    Proven experience in automation framework design and CI/CD integration.
    Solid understanding of test automation patterns, performance testing, and healthcare workflows.
    Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, HITECH).
    Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
    Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
    Prior experience in the healthcare technology (HealthTech) industry is a must. A deep understanding of the healthcare domain, including knowledge of EHR/EMR systems, patient data security, and HIPAA regulations is critical.
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    Experience leading quality initiatives across multiple product lines or in a portfolio-based company.
    Familiarity with interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR.
