Your Job :

Direct Tax and withholding tax matters

- Extract and provide workings for Advance Tax calculations (quarterly) and timely

payment

• Calculation of quarterly tax provisions, eective tax rate working and deferred tax

workings utilizing International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

• Reconciliation of numbers related to tax provisions and tax returns and tax orders

thereby giving relevant information to the accounting team

• Provide details from accounting system for withholding tax monthly payment and to

perform reconciliation of Income-TDS reconciliation of books vs Form 26AS/AP

ledgers

• Work with AP team to reconcile WHT dierences

• Perform monthly ARC reconciliations on GL accounts

• Oversee TDS and TCS Working and ensure payments made on timely basis and filing

of quarterly TDS statements

• Preparation of data for Tax audits, assistance in preparation of tax computation, ITR

filling & filing and reporting for tax numbers for statutory financials

• Work with Finance/GL on the various information collations for statutory reporting

(statutory reporting prepared under India Accounting Standards) and tax audits

• Collation of data in relation to finalizing Transfer pricing study reports, Form 3C etc

• Assistance in Form 61A/SFT response.

• Support in other tax matters relating to Asia Pacific region (e.g. Singapore tax

provision)

Tax queries and tax audit

• Timely response to tax notices, assessment, reassessment, appeal or investigation

proceedings

• Work with tax agent to provide response to tax authorities on tax assessments

• Assist in processes related to direct tax matters (e.g. maintaining tax status trackers

for returns, queries etc)

• Support the indirect tax and transfer pricing teams in coordinating with the tax agent

and/or with the tax authorities in relation to tax queries and tax audit matters as

required.

Adhoc advisory

• Support in adhoc finance projects (e.g. M&A)

• Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and how it could impact business

• Collaborating with business on tax implications on any new transactions/M&A

transactions within the group (e.g. post integration matters).

Skills/ Capabilities :

• Ability to work independently

Required Qualifications :

• Qualification –Chartered Accountant

• 4-6 Years of experience in Direct Tax

• Strong analytical ability and interpersonal skills

• Willing to work with data and able to partner with Finance and business partners.
