Role Overview:

Pre-Sales Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers and internal teams to understand business requirements and design comprehensive IT solutions.
• Develop and present customized solution proposals, technical presentations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
• Create Bill of Materials (BOMs), architecture diagrams, and scope of work documents.
• Lead the technical aspects of RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and prepare solution responses.
• Collaborate with OEMs, distributors, and internal teams to ensure optimized and competitive solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Data Centers.
• Support the sales team during client discussions and negotiations by demonstrating strong technical credibility.
• Conduct product demos, workshops, and solution walk-throughs for key stakeholders.

Required Skills & Expertise

• 4–8 years of relevant experience in

  Pre-Sales or Solution Consulting

  roles within

  System Integration (SI)

  environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise in designing and proposing solutions across:

• IT Infrastructure

  (Servers, Storage, Networking, Virtualization)

• Cybersecurity Solutions

  (Firewalls, Endpoint Security, IAM, SOC, etc.)

• Data Center Technologies

  (DC build, consolidation, migration, DR setup)
• Deep understanding of multi-vendor ecosystems and OEM partnerships (Dell, HPE, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, VMware, etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Proven ability to create solution documents, architecture diagrams, and proposals independently.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant technical certifications (CCNA, VCP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, etc.) are an added advantage.
