Presales Technical Consultant

As a Pre-sales Consultant (PCS) with over 10 years of experience, located in Thane, Mumbai, your primary responsibilities will include discovering customer needs, preparing RFPs, and leading the product solutioning phase of the sales process. You will engage with clients and internal product teams to finalize and freeze the client's expectations for the product in terms of functionality and coverage. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting product/solution demos with use cases and user journeys. You will be responsible for creating functional and technical proposals that clearly articulate the benefits of our product or service offerings to customers, aiming to secure contracts or agreements. Building and managing client relationships will be vital, as you act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations based on a deep understanding of the client's industry and business model. Additionally, you will play a key role in training sales staff on new products or services, enhancing their knowledge and selling capabilities. Collaboration with other members of the sales team to identify growth opportunities in the market will be essential. Serving as a bridge between the sales and product teams, you will ensure seamless coordination and communication. Your skill set should include excellent soft skills such as communication, coordination, and negotiation, coupled with a strong focus on time management and attention to detail. Proficiency in using various software tools, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with other sales support tools is required. Excellent presentation skills will further strengthen your profile as a Pre-sales Consultant. Ideally, you should have experience in the Port Community industry with a strong functional understanding of solutions. Alternatively, experience in similar roles within other software product/solutions companies will be considered. A Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, IT, logistics, or a relevant discipline is required, with an MBA being preferred but not mandatory.,
