Job Title: Pre-Sales Specialist – Audio Visual (AV) - IT Products & Solutions Location: Delhi - Vasant Vihar Reporting to: Project Head Experience Required: 3-5 years in AV Pre-Sales, Design, or Solution Architecture Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field. Relevant certifications (CTS, AutoCAD) are a plus. ⸻ Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Specialist with strong expertise in Audio Visual (AV) and IT solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating BOQs, BOMs, designing layouts on AutoCAD, and developing cost-effective, functional solutions. This role requires in-depth knowledge of AV and IT technologies, vendor management (local and international OEMs), client site assessment, and seamless coordination with internal teams from project inception to execution. The candidate should also be capable of designing solutions for boardrooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, and smart classrooms, as well as handling rack management, cabling routes, and integrating existing equipment with the latest technology while staying within budget. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: 1. Pre-Sales Consultation & Solution Design: • Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements, budget constraints, and expectations. • Propose realistic, functional, and cost-effective AV and IT solutions. • Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and BOMs (Bill of Materials). • Design technical layouts and system integration plans using AutoCAD. • Create impactful presentations and solution documents using Microsoft PowerPoint. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for costing, data analysis, and detailed project reporting. • Stay updated with the latest AV and IT technologies and industry trends. • Design and optimize solutions for boardrooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, and smart classrooms. • Handle rack management, plan cabling routes, and check existing infrastructure for potential integration or upgrades. • Assess existing racks and equipment to determine usability and suggest upgrades while keeping the client’s budget in mind. • Develop Proof of Concept (POC) with the help of technical engineers to secure client approval. 2. Site Survey & Assessment: • Conduct site visits to gather critical data and assess project requirements. • Evaluate cabling, power sources, lighting, acoustics, and positioning for solution design. • Identify potential execution challenges and incorporate preventive measures in the design phase. • Prepare detailed site reports for internal teams and clients. 3. Vendor Management & Coordination: • Build strong relationships with local and international OEMs for product updates, pricing, and technical support. • Negotiate with vendors to ensure the best pricing without compromising quality. • Keep track of advancements in AV and IT products and solutions. 4. Client Communication & Engagement: • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with clients. • Address client queries and provide technical clarifications confidently. • Align solutions with client budgets, timelines, and requirements. • Provide regular updates on project progress, site conditions, and potential challenges. 5. Project Coordination & Execution Support: • Work closely with engineering and project management teams for seamless execution. • Develop a detailed Scope of Work (SOW) with defined timelines and milestones. • Conduct periodic site visits to ensure solution accuracy and assist with troubleshooting. • Ensure smooth transition from design to execution while keeping client expectations in check. 6. Documentation & Reporting: • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including site reports, solution designs, vendor communications, and client interactions. • Use Microsoft Excel for cost analysis, project tracking, and reporting. • Prepare and share project timelines and schedules. • Provide weekly progress reports to clients and internal teams. ⸻ Key Skills & Competencies: Technical Expertise: • Strong knowledge of AV and IT solutions (video conferencing, digital displays, control systems, networking solutions, etc.). • Proficiency in BOQ, BOM, and AutoCAD design. • Experience in designing solutions for boardrooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, and smart classrooms. • Ability to handle rack management, cabling routes, and integration of existing equipment with new technology. • Experience in making Proof of Concept (POC) presentations. Software Proficiency: • Microsoft Excel for data analysis, costing, and reporting. • Microsoft PowerPoint for impactful client presentations. • AutoCAD for layout and design planning. Vendor & Client Management: • Experience in handling local and international OEMs. • Strong negotiation skills for pricing and vendor agreements. • Ability to understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions within budget. Project Coordination: • Capable of preparing detailed Scope of Work (SOW) and timelines. • Ability to coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
