We are on the lookout for a skilled and innovative Power Platform Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will develop, implement, and maintain custom applications and solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents). You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to automate processes, enhance business operations, and drive organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Solutions:
- Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Power Apps.
- Automate workflows and processes using Power Automate (Flow).
- Create dashboards and reports using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
- Develop chatbots and other AI-driven solutions using Power Virtual Agents.
- Collaboration and Support.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate Power Platform solutions with other systems and data sources.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing Power Platform solutions.
- Quality Assurance.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
- Implement best practices for Power Platform development, including version control and code reviews.
- Training and Documentation.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, including user guides and technical manuals.
- Train end-users and provide support for deployed solutions to ensure effective adoption and usage.
Qualificational Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience
- Proven experience (3+ years) in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
- Experience developing, customizing, or integrating workflows in ServiceNow, including automation, scripting, and reporting.
- Experience integrating Power Platform with other Microsoft services such as Azure, Dynamics 365, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with data modeling, SQL, and APIs.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, ServiceNow, and related technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Certifications
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-900, PL-100, PL-200) are a plus.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Application Developer) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the automotive industry or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing methodologies or similar principles.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
