Job Title: Software Engineer - Power BI Experience: 3 years - 5 years Location: Pune / Indore Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Power BI Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience in developing business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent DAX and SQL knowledge, and a solid understanding of data modeling and dashboard/report design. You will work closely with business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models. • Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional BI solutions. • Develop DAX measures, calculated columns, and queries to support dynamic reporting. • Optimize and troubleshoot Power BI data sets and reports for performance and usability. • Integrate Power BI reports with various data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud services (e.g., Azure). • Implement row-level security and other access control features in Power BI. • Create and maintain documentation for BI solutions, processes, and training materials. • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and business users to enhance reporting capabilities. • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Hands-on experience in Power BI development. • Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M Language), and SQL. • Experience in data modeling (star/snowflake schema), ETL processes, and BI architecture. • Solid understanding of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and data visualization best practices. • Experience integrating Power BI with cloud platforms like Azure (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Lake). • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and DevOps practices is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
