Job Description

Position Overview

HR Manager

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Handle and guide recruitment for

    corporate, manufacturing, labour, supervisor, and fabricator positions

    .
  • Conduct

    induction/orientation training

    for new employees.
  • Prepare and maintain

    employee personal files (hard copy)

    with all mandatory/statutory forms and maintain

    employee data in soft copy

    .

Payroll & Attendance Management

  • Manage

    attendance records

    (manual register & biometric).
  • Review

    monthly attendance and absenteeism

    for all employees.
  • Prepare and distribute

    salary sheets

    to management by the 2nd of every month.
  • Ensure timely

    salary processing & slip distribution

    .
  • Manage

    leave register updates, leave applications, OD records, and leave encashment details

    .
  • Handle

    overtime (OT), fooding, and processing details

    for labour.
  • Maintain records and prepare

    monthly bonus details

    .

Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with

    Labour Laws, ESIC Act, Provident Fund Act, Factory Act, and U.P. Pollution Act

    .
  • Prepare and submit

    PF & ESIC returns

    on time.
  • Manage provisional details for

    gratuity, retirement, and leave encashment

    .
  • Handle labour law-related issues and maintain compliance documents (Form 14 Hard & Soft Copy).

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Handle

    employee grievances

    and ensure workplace discipline.
  • Issue

    notices to late-comers

    (staff & labour) and take disciplinary action.
  • Guide and implement a

    hierarchy system

    in the organisation.
  • Drive the

    performance management process

    , setting

    KRAs with HODs

    and preparing

    appraisal reports

    for staff and supervisors.
  • Support and manage

    employee full & final settlements

    .

Administration & Operations

  • Monitor and verify bills (Security Guard, BSNL, Consultancy) and send to Accounts for payment.
  • Oversee

    cleanliness & maintenance

    of washrooms, canteen, office, and factory premises.
  • Manage

    stationery, stacking of material, monthly tea expenses

    , and other office administration duties.
  • Maintain proper

    filing of HR and statutory documents

    .

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of

    labour laws, compliance, and factory-related regulations

    .
  • Experience in handling

    corporate as well as manufacturing HR functions

    .
  • Excellent skills in

    payroll management, statutory filings, and HR policies

    .
  • Strong interpersonal skills for handling

    employee grievances and disciplinary matters

    .
  • Ability to

    formulate and implement HR policies

    as per law and best practices.
  • Proficiency in

    MS Office and HR software

    for data management.

Education & Experience

  • Graduate/Post Graduate in

    Human Resources/Industrial Relations/Business Administration

    .
  • 510 years of HR experience

    , preferably in a

    manufacturing setup

    .
  • Hands-on experience with

    statutory compliance and labour laws

    is mandatory.
