Job Description

Job Summary:

The Plant HR Executive will be responsible for managing HR operations at the plant level, ensuring smooth implementation of HR policies, handling employee relations, statutory compliance, recruitment, and supporting overall workforce management. The role requires close coordination with production, administration, and corporate HR teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Recruitment & Onboarding

1. Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant-level positions (blue-collar & staff).

2. Coordinate with manpower agencies for contract labor and staffing requirements.

3. Conduct onboarding and induction programs for new employees at the plant level.

4. Coordinate with line manager for hiring requirement.

  • 2. Employee Relations & Engagement

5. Maintain healthy employee relations on the shop floor.

6. Handle employee grievances and escalate issues when necessary.

7. Plan and execute employee engagement and welfare activities.

8. Support communication between management and workforce.

9. Conflict resolution at plant level

10. Grievance handling blue collar

  • 3. Attendance & Payroll Coordination

11. Monitor attendance, leave management, and overtime records.

12. Coordinate with payroll teams for timely salary processing and verification.

13. Ensure accuracy of employee records and master data.

  • 4. Statutory Compliance & HR Administration

14. Maintain compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Factory Act, etc.).

15. Coordinate with external consultants and government departments during inspections.

16. Maintain all statutory registers and HR documentation.

17. Invoice processing of all vendors.

  • 5. Performance Management & Training

18. Support implementation of performance appraisal systems at the plant.

19. Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs.

20. Track and report training hours for compliance and audits.

  • 6. Health, Safety & Welfare

21. Collaborate with the Safety and Admin teams to ensure safe working conditions for all the employees.

22. Oversee employee welfare programs like canteen, transport, and uniforms.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: MBA / PGDM in HR, MSW, or equivalent.
    • Experience: 23 years in plant HR operations, preferably in manufacturing or engineering industry. • Skills: - Strong knowledge of labor laws and factory compliance. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS software. - Ability to handle blue-collar workforce effectively.
