Placement Coordinator

About the Role We are seeking a versatile Placement Coordinator who can effectively manage end-to-end placement operations across both technical and non-technical domains. The role requires strong industry connections, proactive student engagement, and the ability to drive successful hiring outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :-

● Company Onboarding: Build partnerships with companies across tech (IT, software, analytics, AI/ML, etc.) and non-tech (marketing, operations, sales, HR, etc.) sectors.

● Job Posting & Communication: Share opportunities on the platform and across student groups for maximum outreach.

● Student Screening: Conduct eligibility tests and shortlist candidates for different role categories.

● Resume Management: Review resumes, ensuring alignment with both technical and non-technical job descriptions.

● Recruiter Coordination: Forward shortlisted profiles, track application progress, and manage follow-ups until closure.

● Placement Support: Assist students with mock interviews, career counseling, and job application strategies.

● Career Readiness Sessions: Conduct workshops on Resume Building, LinkedIn Branding, Aptitude, Communication, and Interview Skills for both domains.

● Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate placement dashboards and success reports segmented by tech and non-tech placements.

● Relationship Management: Act as a strong liaison between recruiters and students, ensuring a smooth hiring process.

Key Skills & Competencies

● Strong knowledge of tech & non-tech hiring requirements.

● Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

● Familiarity with recruitment processes, ATS, and hiring cycles.

● Ability to understand both technical job descriptions and business/management roles.

● Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and placement management tools.
