Placement Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Placement Officer to lead our institution’s placement and career services division. With over five of experience, the ideal candidate will bring a strong network of industry contacts, a strategic mindset, and the ability to mentor both students and junior team members. This role is critical in enhancing employability outcomes and building strong corporate partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end campus placement process for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with corporates, industry leaders, and recruitment agencies.
• Design and implement placement strategies aligned with industry trends and institutional goals.
• Collaborate with academic departments to align student skills with market requirements.
• Organize placement drives, industry connect programs, job fairs, and panel discussions.
• Guide and mentor students on career planning, resume development, and interview readiness.
• Drive internship and pre-placement opportunities across diverse sectors.
• Manage placement data, reports, recruiter feedback, and outcome analysis for senior leadership.
• Supervise the placement team, delegate tasks, and ensure timely execution of activities.
• Represent the institution in industry forums, educational conclaves, and employer meets.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Management, HR, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in placement or corporate relations, with leadership exposure.
• Strong track record of achieving placement targets and corporate tie-ups.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience in organizing high-impact recruitment and branding events.
• Proficiency in placement tracking systems, CRM tools, and data analysis.
