Role**: Performance Engineer Required Technical Skill Set: Telecom – Performance Engineer Desired Experience Range: 05 - 10 yrs Notice Period: Immediate to 90Days only Location of Requirement: Chennai We are currently planning to do a Virtual Interview Job Description: Must have or be 7-10 Years of experience in Performance testing 5+ years of experience in using Apache JMeter performance testing tool. Strong ability to design and develop performance test scripts, using JMeter (mandatory), LoadRunner (mandatory)and other tools. Hands on experience in script migration from LRE to JMeter Handson experience in developing framework and integrating Jmeter with other open source tools to simulate the load from the web tier and capture the E2E page response time and other performance metrics. Design, develop, and execute various kinds of performance tests for diverse applications and systems. In-depth knowledge in using the performance monitoring tools like Splunk, Newrelic, Perfmon, AppDynamics, etc, with the ability to analyse, interpret test results and identify bottlenecks. Excellent analytical skills and experience in troubleshooting performance issues across tiers (e.g., application, database, network). Strong communication skills, with the ability to document & present the test results / findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Should have academic qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields, with strong coding skills in any of the programming language (Java, groovy, C, C++, Python , etc.) Expert in testing following performance testing protocols using JMeter or JMeter integration with other open source testing tools: Siebel-Web, Oracle NCA, Web (HTTP/HTTPS), Webservices, Truclient, JMS Queue, Citrix, M2M, Different types of Network Traffic generation, Batch Jobs, and Database Query Execution Expert in Unix commands, Shell scripting, and SQL Experience in Telecom domain. Experience in performance testing Oracle Products - Siebel CRM, Fusion, ERP, and BRM Developing reusable assets and value add for the performance testing team Good to have Skills Experience in High Availability and Disaster Recovery Testing Experience in any one of the automation tools like Selenium java /Python, UFT, etc Experience in any of the CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, etc Experience in version control tools like Git, etc Experience in other open-source performance testing tools Role & Responsibilities Would be responsible for the creation and maintenance of performance test plans. Understand the system architecture from a performance testing perspective. Provide Performance Testing expertise to the various projects. Review and prioritize all problems found during testing and relay them to Developers promptly. Will be responsible for the execution of performance test scripts. Ability to perform analysis of testing results and triage issues found. Develop the performance test artifacts. Performing proof of concept with various licensed and open-source tools, suggesting suitable performance testing and monitoring tools Working with team members as well as individual contributors based on the project requirements. Training the freshers or team members and deliver the project on time.
