Project Role :Performance Engineer
Project Role Description :Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering:software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Good to have skills :Apache JMeter, Performance Testing Strategy

Summary:As a Performance Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for analyzing the issues. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to analyze performance metrics, conducting thorough assessments of application performance, and implementing effective solutions to enhance system efficiency. You will also be part of application performance management, ensuring that the software development lifecycle is optimized for peak performance. And sometimes it requires morning shift to execute the test runs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Should have good knowledge in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management Must have Expertise in Performance Testing tools- Performance Center, LoadRunner and Jmeter. Preferred Protocol - LR protocols (WEB(HTTP/HTML), Java VUser) exposure Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance and other non-functional test runs Knowledge on Monitoring tools App Dynamics, Dynatrace

Skills: Must Have
Skills: Proficiency in Micro Focus LoadRunner. Good To Have
Skills: Experience with Apache JMeter, Performance Testing Strategy, Understanding of Rest APIs, Kafka and Managing Queue Strong understanding of performance testing principles and practices, Unix command and Shell scripting Knowledge. Should have experience of writing SQL queries Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases. Ability to analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights. Through application logs to determine system behavior Address all technical issues, facilitate the resolution and necessarily follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application Publish results, provide walkthrough and receive appropriate signoff. Prepare detail status reports, and monitoring of all defects and issues
Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner. This position is based at our Pune office. A 15 year full time education is required.
