Performance Engineer

Project Role Description :

Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

15 years full time educationSummary: As a Performance Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for diagnosing complex issues that the in-house performance testing team has been unable to resolve. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to understand performance challenges, analyzing system architecture, and implementing effective solutions to enhance application performance. You will also participate in capacity planning and application performance management, ensuring that systems operate efficiently and effectively under varying loads. Your role will be pivotal in driving improvements and ensuring optimal performance across applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Analyze performance metrics and identify bottlenecks in the system. - Collaborate with development teams to integrate performance testing into the software development lifecycle. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache JMeter. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Neotys NeoLoad. - Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools. - Experience in capacity planning and application performance management. - Familiarity with problem detection and resolution techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Apache JMeter. - This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
