Job Description

Job Summary:

A Payroll Manager oversees payroll operations, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while complying with tax regulations and company policies.
They manage payroll staff, maintain payroll systems, and support audits and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Oversee payroll systems, records, and reporting accuracy.
Supervise and train payroll staff.
Resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and tax issues.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on compensation, benefits, and reporting.
Support audits and maintain payroll-related compliance documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
5+ years of payroll experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP) and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.

Work Environment:

Payroll Managers work in corporate offices, HR departments, or shared service centers across industries.
