Job Title: Payroll & Compliance Executive We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Payroll & Compliance Executive to manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure adherence to statutory compliance requirements. This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate payroll records, addressing employee queries, and ensuring the organization complies with all relevant labour laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities Payroll Processing & Administration Oversee and process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement. Calculate salaries, bonuses, deductions (e.g., Provident Fund, ESI, Professional Tax), and other benefits in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements. Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to address payroll discrepancies and ensure seamless operations. Statutory Compliance & Reporting Ensure full compliance with all relevant labour laws and statutory obligations, including but not limited to: Provident Fund (PF) Employee State Insurance (ESI) Professional Tax (PT) Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) Minimum Wages Act Accurately prepare and submit statutory returns within specified timelines to the respective authorities. Maintain comprehensive records of statutory filings, registrations, and licenses, ensuring timely renewals and updates. Monitor legislative changes in labour laws and statutory norms, and provide timely guidance to management on necessary compliance measures. Coordinate with government bodies and make visits to PF/ESIC offices or Labour Authority departments as needed for submissions, clarifications, and inspections. Represent the organization before labour courts or statutory authorities in response to any legal notices or correspondence, ensuring prompt and compliant resolution. Ensure proper maintenance and filing of employee records, salary registers, and statutory documents in accordance with regulatory standards. Manage employee enrolment, exit, and necessary approvals on the PF and ESIC portals as per online requests received. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software and HRMS tools. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance requirements. Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
