About the Role

You will develop new ways to harness the strengths of TSSF, understand our collective impact and find new ways of working in partnership to achieve our collective ambitions. You will raise unrestricted funds, grants and CSR for TSSF from Major Donors and Philanthropic institutions, the broad guide as listed below:

Objective Result Areas


  • Conduct research to identify and pursue new opportunities to establish partnerships with private companies and government agencies and win their CSR funds TSSF Programs.

  • Cold-call and network to find new revenue/grants opportunities, including representing TSSF at conferences, seminars, and events to proactively identify high-potential partners.

  • Consistently follow up with existing and new partners to deliver the highest levels of customer service and engagement.

  • Grow and manage TSSF S network of CSR partners. Use your creativity to find new paths, and expand existing ones, to bring healthcare to our target population.

  • Meet and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue/grants targets by winning new and renewal partnership contracts.

  • Faithfully and accurately enter all revenue/grants activity calls, conversations, meetings, WhatsApp and SMS texts, and other messages into revenue/grant force, our customer relations management (CRM) system.

  • Conduct prospect research to identify and prioritize major gift prospects

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive major gift fundraising plan, including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.

  • Build and manage relationships with major donors, ensuring that they are engaged and informed about the organizations work.

  • Work closely with senior staff and other stakeholders to advance the major gifts program. Reach out and work with communications team to market and publicize TSSF programs.

  • Analyze data and make informed decisions about fundraising strategies, tracking progress and reporting on results.

  • A comprehensive major gift fundraising plan for the region, including a list of prospects and a timeline for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.

  • Regular reports on the progress of the major gifts program, including the number of gifts secured, the amount raised.

  • Recommendations for how the organization can continue to build and strengthen its major gifts program in the future.

  • Meet a minimum of 10 Major Donors & Foundations within first 3-6 months of joining and start securing a pledge targeting between 50 lakhs 75 lakhs which is rolling.

  • Map and manage key accounts. Maintain and strengthen relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders and assure that we are building lasting partnerships.

  • Regularly follow up with clients for MOU (memorandum of understanding) renewals and payments.

  • Monitor completion of project deliverables in collaboration with program and execution teams. Provide corporate partners with timely and accurate information about project progress. Proactively communicate challenges and recommend solutions.

  • Help donors/ prospective donors share their impact with internal stakeholders, including boards of directors and employees, and work with donors/ prospective donors marketing and communications teams to share results externally.

  • Collect positive feedback and testimonials from satisfied donors/ prospective donors.

Requirements


  • Master s degree in sales and marketing, business, science and/or related field, preferred not essential

  • 5 to 8 years of professional experience in business development, relationship management, and fundraising.

  • Strong concept selling skills, especially in the business-to-business (B2B) environment.

  • Exceptional customer service skills in addressing client questions promptly, managing client expectations, and resolving complaints.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi, including strong presentation, proposal writing, and negotiation skills.

  • Must meet the highest standards of ethics and personal integrity.

  • Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time, within India.

The consultancy is for a period of 12 months. An extension of 6 more months to be given based on deliverables. The consultant will provide services for the specified period, with regular progress updates and opportunities for feedback from the organization.
