We specialize in building industry-specific accelerators and delivering tailored consulting engagements that address real operational challenges across manufacturing, life sciences, and other complex verticals.
We’re looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Outside Sales Representative to help scale our U.S. presence in the manufacturing vertical. This is a hands-on, hunter role ideal for someone who thrives in startup environments, where there’s no brand recognition and every conversation counts.
You’ll be responsible for generating demand, opening new doors, and converting opportunities into long-term consulting partnerships. Success in this role means building trust quickly, translating manufacturing pain points into KenexAI solutions, and hustling to grow pipeline from scratch.
· Drive net-new client acquisition in the manufacturing space with minimal brand awareness and yet will have marketing support
· Develop and execute your own territory and outreach plan, including cold prospecting, referrals, and networking
· Position KenexAI’s consulting services and accelerators as high-value solutions for targeted business improvement opportunities
· Collaborate closely with delivery leads to craft custom proposals and solution roadmaps
· Engage senior-level buyers across operations, digital, and IT to understand needs and shape value-driven conversations
· Attend industry events, participate in thought leadership, and create visibility for KenexAI in target accounts
· Own full sales cycle and pipeline management, maintaining accuracy in CRM and forecast reporting
· 5+ years of outside sales experience in consulting, digital transformation, or advanced data & AI services
· Experience selling into manufacturing clients and understanding of key operational pain points
· Proven track record of building pipeline and closing deals without the support of a major brand
· Self-starter with a high tolerance for ambiguity and an entrepreneurial approach to prospecting and deal creation
· Strong communication and storytelling skills—able to simplify complex solutions for business buyers
· Willingness to travel up to 50% across the U.S.
· Background in or exposure to sectors such as industrials, automotive, CPG, or high-tech manufacturing
· Familiarity with selling AI, analytics, or cloud data solutions in a services context
· Experience working in or with early-stage startups or boutique consulting firms
· Be part of building something from the ground up in a high-growth, high-impact domain
· Work alongside passionate experts in AI, data, and industry consulting
· Competitive base + uncapped commission structure tied directly to performance
