Role Overview

OT Security Engineer

You will collaborate with cross-functional IT and engineering teams to develop, enforce, and continuously improve OT security strategies across manufacturing, energy, utilities, or other industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct
OT risk assessments
and vulnerability scans across ICS/SCADA systems
Design and implement
network segmentation, firewalls, and access controls
Develop and enforce OT cybersecurity policies and incident response plans
Monitor and respond to security events
in OT environments
Support
compliance initiatives
related to NIST, IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001, and other relevant standards
Collaborate with plant engineers, control system vendors, and cybersecurity teams
Perform
gap analysis and audits
on OT cybersecurity postures
Train plant and operational staff on
OT cybersecurity awareness and procedures

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
3–5 years of experience
in OT/ICS cybersecurity or industrial systems engineering
Strong knowledge of
ICS/SCADA protocols
(Modbus, DNP3, OPC, etc.)
Familiarity with
SIEM tools
, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network forensics
Working knowledge of
IEC 62443
,
NIST 800-82
, and other OT security frameworks
Ability to identify and mitigate threats to
critical infrastructure
Certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or ISA/IEC 62443
are a strong plus
Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Compensation
